The Duchess Necklace is crafted from solid sterling silver 5mm beads and freshwater diamond pearls. The beads are handwoven to create a delicate chain that is then finished with solid sterling silver fastenings and waterfall pearl strands.

The Duchess Necklace takes her lineage from the medieval mermaid Queens. Her grandmothers wore crowns of starfish and ammonoids, and gowns of plankton that glittered like liquid silver at night. They sung sea shanty lullabies, with voices known to lull the fiercest of storms. Some were even known to lead lost sailors to their doom. The Duchess represents the duality of beauty and naughtiness.

All standard Orders are shipped via Royal Mail. Express orders are shipped via DHL.

Please allow 2-3 working days for processing plus shipping time.

Standard orders placed via the website can be returned or exchanged within 14 days from the delivery date.

Care Instructions:

Solid silver and gold naturally tarnish over time, caused by the oils on your skin and oxidisation. To bring the materials back to their original shine, try gently brushing them with warm water, washing-up liquid and a soft toothbrush. 

For pieces with a deeper tarnish, soaking them in a mix of warm water and baking soda for a few hours will help lift them. If you opt for a silver or gold polish, please try to keep it away from the pearls where possible.
